Internet fiction writer Jing Ran is trapped in a recurring nightmare. In his dream, he is attacked by a terrifying rag doll, and each time, a mysterious man with a birthmark on his chest appears to save him at the critical moment.

As the nightmares repeat without end, Jing Ran is pushed to the edge of a nervous breakdown.

Guided by a hypnotist, he chooses to enter the dream once again, determined to uncover the truth behind it. But inside, the visions grow darker—the rag doll, a woman dressed in red, and a mysterious foreign exorcist begin to appear.

Together with the man from his dream, Jing Ran is drawn deeper and deeper into an unknown darkness, as if being pulled into a bottomless black hole.
