| Synopsis :Young film director Lee and his best friend, a swimming coach, set out on a motorcycle journey around Taiwan — from bustling Taipei through the misty peaks of Alishan, the marble cliffs of Taroko Gorge, and finally toward the quiet shores of Orchid Island. Each carries his own burden: Lee, yearning to reconnect with the memories of his late father; and the coach, running from an engagement he can no longer face.As they travel side by side, the road becomes more than just a journey — it’s a fragile space between escape and acceptance, friendship and something unspoken. When the truth surfaces, both men are forced to confront what it means to move on… and what can never be reached. A tender, reflective story about loss, longing, and the distances — emotional and physical — that define us. |
